Your teen has potential.

BUT...

Are they overwhelmed, lost, or drifting?

Are they uncertain of their future?

Do you fear they are wasting their potential?

Do you want to better equip them for adulthood?

Give your teen the tools to thrive—before the world defines them

You’re doing everything you can to raise your kids right—but you're still feeling uncertain about their future.

Most programs for teens — including therapy, tutoring, counseling, and sports — focus on short-term results: better grades, improved behavior, more discipline. And while those things matter, they don’t last unless the foundation is there.

As parents, we just want our teens to have a real shot at a happy, healthy life. But today’s world is louder, faster, and more overwhelming than ever — and even smart, driven teens are getting stuck, drifting through life instead of moving forward with confidence and purpose.

What I've Found

What I’ve found is that a lot of parents of high-potential teens feel a growing weight on their shoulders. They’re worried, stressed, and sometimes even anxious about what life will look like for their son or daughter after high school — and that day is coming faster than they ever imagined. Questions keep running through their minds: Will my teen be ready for college… or the real world? Do they have the confidence to handle setbacks? Are they building the resilience and direction they’ll need once I’m not there to guide every step?

Their teen is smart, capable, even busy… but behind it all, they seem disconnected, anxious, or just going through the motions.

And that’s the hard part—because as parents, we don’t always see the full picture until their spark fades, their motivation disappears, they drift into circles that don’t have their best interests at heart, or they start numbing themselves just to cope.

So the ones who care most often feel stuck between wanting to help… and not knowing how.

What they really want is simple: a grounded, confident teen who knows who they are and feels excited about where they’re going.

But it’s easy to assume the problem is laziness, social media, or “just teenage stuff.”

So they try more structure, more support, maybe even therapy—hoping something will finally click.

But what I’ve found is this: it’s not that these teens aren’t trying.
It’s that they’ve never been shown how to build from the inside out — starting with who they are, what they value, and how to handle setbacks — instead of chasing grades, trophies, and quick fixes, or constantly reacting to social pressure.

They don’t need more pressure—they need a foundation. Clarity. Confidence. Resilience.

That’s why being proactive now is mission critical to them thriving heading into adulthood vs drifting through it.

Mentorship is Different

We help teens build the core foundation of confidence, resilience, and vision so the skills they develop in school, sports, or counseling actually stick and carry them into adulthood.

  • Focus on foundations, not quick fixes
    — we start with identity, values, and mindset before tackling performance.

  • Skills that last beyond high school
    — resilience, confidence, and vision carry teens into adulthood, not just the next semester.

  • Personalized, relationship-based guidance
    — a mentor listens, challenges, and encourages in ways that stick differently than lectures or classes.

  • Bridges what parents want with what teens need
    — reinforcing values while giving teens space to take ownership of their future.

  • Complements, not competes with, other efforts
    — tutoring, sports, or counseling work better when a teen has the inner foundation to apply them.

Why I Do This Work

I've been coaching and mentoring teens through scouting and sports for 17 years. I saw their potential—sometimes before they saw it themselves. I saw what happens when they feel grounded, supported, and confident… and what happens when they don’t.

But something’s changed.

Today’s teens are growing up in a world filled with more pressure, more confusion, and less clarity than ever before. I’ve seen even the most high-potential teens—smart, driven, gifted—drift into overwhelm, anxiety, or apathy. I’ve seen parents doing everything they can… but still unsure how to reach their kids.

I know that pain.

With over 30 years of experience as an architect and more than 17 years mentoring teens through scouts and sports, I’ve built a life around seeing potential where others might miss it. I’m a husband to Leslee and proud father of three adult children—Jonathan, Jessica, and Jason—each on their own unique journey. My background includes time as a business owner and public official, but my passion lies in helping the next generation grow in resilience, confidence, and purpose. I’ve walked through personal and family challenges that have deepened my faith and shaped how I guide others today.

I’ve lived it in my own family and walked alongside others through it.
But I’ve also seen what’s possible when a teen has the right kind of guidance—the kind that helps them step back, discover who they really are, determine what they really want, plan how to go after it, and handle the challenges and adversity they will face along the way.

That’s why I created My Health Architect—to help teens build confidence in who they are, resilience to face life’s challenges, and vision for the future they want to create.

Not with therapy. Not with lectures.

But with mentorship that meets them where they are—and helps them build from the inside out--setting a solid foundation within to navigate the opportunities and challenges of the outside world.

This isn’t a quick fix. It’s a blueprint for life.

Our 12-week mentorship program is designed to help high-potential teens build three things every young person needs to thrive—and that’s Resilience, Confidence, and Vision.

We do that through a proven 3-Phase process:

Discover

We start by stepping back. Teens gain clarity on who they are, what they value, and what’s been holding them back. This builds self-awareness and grounds them in truth—not just feelings or peer pressure.

Design

Once they have clarity, we help them map out what they want their life to look like, based on their values and strengths, covering not just 1 area of life but 12 critical area. We all know life is more complex than just 1 aspect.

Build

Then we develop the skills to live it out: communication, decision-making, resilience, and time ownership. It is about having the skills to handle the adversity WHEN it comes.
